My Parkinson’s Disease Treatment Experience with Lara Schulz.
I started treatment with Lara on Saturday 9th January 2021. We only had 7 days to get as much therapy in as possible, so we decided on two sessions a day for the 6 days. I had 13 sessions all up.
At the beginning, Lara took a qEEG of my brain to see how Parkinson’s Disease was affecting my brain. Based off the qEEG, Lara was able to see how significantly deficient in Delta my brain was.. so significant I was three standard deviations below the norm. No wonder my sleep was so bad. Lara tailored a specific, intensive treatment plan. At the beginning of the treatment, my symptoms included weakness on the left-hand side of my body predominantly. This weakness affected my eyesight and left my left eye with a film across it and my eyesight at times through the first treatment session was quite hazy. This stopped around the third session. I also noticed that my sinus flared up, however this too subsided as the treatment sessions went on.
What I noticed most during treatment was how tired I was and how my quality of sleep improved! I usually sleep for 6 hours each night and its usually broken sleep as I move around a lot as I am in pain. Once I started treatment, I noticed I was getting a solid 8 hours sleep, uninterrupted. I feel as though my eyesight has improved; I plan on getting my eyes tested to see if this is the case. My tremor had significantly improved as well. My left foot is usually pretty bad as well, I cannot wear fitted shoes normally as my feet swell so badly, I cannot fit my foot into shoes.
Post treatment, my wife and I went for an afternoon out and I wore a pair of dress shoes that are not exactly comfortable. My left foot did not swell up in high temperatures while wearing shoes for 4-5 hours. Some positive signs!! A few weeks on and some of the signs are really positive. I have been back at work full time again this week and my body did not ache very much, and my fatigue levels were defiantly lower than I would have anticipated.
